Deckhand (Fitness) CYC 010

We are looking for a Deckhand with a strong fitness/PT background, for a prestigious and highly reputable 100m+ Private MY.

We are looking for a candidate who is a passionate fitness enthusiast. with a love for running, cycling, and overall well-being. Ideally, you have at least 1 years´ experience as a deckhand, but we would consider candidates with less yachting experience with a strong dedication to fitness, particularly those who are avid runners or cyclists. If triathlons are your passion, we’d love to hear from you.

The owner and his family are passionate about fitness, so our candidate must be able to accompany them on long runs or cycling sessions.

Our ideal candidate is driven, wanting to learn and develop, a great communicator, switched on and observant, detail oriented and willing to exceed guest expectations. A down-to-earth, level-headed candidate, full of energy and with a great sense of humour.

This MY runs a continual / annual season with an experienced and adventurous yacht owner who enjoys venturing off the beaten path but is also content to dock in major cities for exploration. This is not a role for the faint hearted, we need a hardworking, positive, friendly and enthusiastic candidate that loves to create and provide great experiences for the owner and his guests.

Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH.

The owning family are interactive with the crew, so this role would suit someone who is sociable but able to maintain professionalism at all times. An easy-going, friendly and enthusiastic candidate that works hard with a smile on their face, willing to learn from highly experienced and professional team members.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious yacht with a great Captain, superb Officers and HODs with the added bonus of a great owner on a dual season yacht.

Starting date: April/May - as soon as we find the right candidate

About the program: Dual season

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, PDSD, additional certificates are a bonus.

Requirements for application: Preferably 1 years’ experience in the industry, however we would consider a candidate with a strong fitness/sports background with less yachting experience, good verifiable references are a must. A true No-Smoker/ NO-Vaping

Salary: DOE Euros

The HODs have a strong focus on crew wellbeing and mental health, ample time off given to crew when onboard and great crew facilities including a large crew gym.
60 days leave, 5:1
Discretionary training budgets and bonuses are also offered to crew.
Small discreet non offensive tattoos may be permitted.
No Smokers/No Vapers.
Fluent in English.
